AMAG's Special MIA Mission to Ukraine
Professional Search, Recovery, Identification, and Interment/Repatriation
Upon approval of AMAG's offer of assistance, AMAG will assist with the daunting task of bringing closure to the families of the many, many brave Ukrainian and foreign volunteers missing in action due to the unprovoked war of aggression. If you are seeking answers regarding a loved-one who you believe to be deceased and MIA, please contact your UAF representative before contacting AMAG. While any information or assistance can only be provided by or with the approval of and cooperation from the Armed Forces and government of Ukraine, we intend to help bring closure through our extensive worldwide experience in these matters. REMEMBER: AMAG is volunteer humanitarian organization and the UAF and UFL is responsible for notifications and providing information to the families.
Our Unique Services
DNA Collection and Comparison
AMAG can assist with obtaining both Family Reference Samples (FRS), obtaining post-mortem (PM) samples, and completing the necessary analysis and comparison to determine the likelihood of identifying the remains of a missing person.
Archival Research
Our highly trained investigators, researchers and genealogists will scour archives, military records, enemy reports, witnesses and other sources to determine if we can proceed with an on-ground investigation before we send our experts into the field.

If you have reason to believe your loved-one is deceased overseas and you are seeking assistance with obtaining answers from the foreign government, recovery and/or repatriation to the United States, please contact us. Unlike our MIA mission, these special missions are funded by the family.

AMAG's experience working with national and state veterans cemeteries allows us to explain all the final disposition options available to a family once a recovery and identification has been made. From interment in Arlington National Cemetery (if eligible) to burial at sea and overseas interments, AMAG will ensure your loved-one's final resting place is one fitting of his/her life and service.
